We are situated just off the Broadway Shopping Centre.
Harlequins grooming salon is designed to be efficient, relaxing and secure. We want your pets to feel comfortable, happy and relaxed, as well as look absolutely gorgeous and smelling devine!! Harlequins Pet Care is run from an insured, fully equipped business premises with easy access and ample parking outside.
At Harlequins Pet care we offer a unique grooming experience which is tailored specifically to your Dog or Cats requirements. From a basic bath to breed standard cuts, de-matts on cats to Lion Trims and the Teddy Bear trim . We pride ourselves on grooming all breeds of dogs and cats, (pedigrees and crossbreeds) to the highest standard. Size is not a great concern as we have equipment which caters for all sizes from Chihauas to Great Danes. All animals groomed at Harlequins are treated with the upmost kindness and humanley with the minimum amount of restraints.
A collection and drop off service is available at the cost of £5. All animals are transported safely and securely in our fully equipped van.
Your pets welfare is our biggest concern while they are with us. No dog or cat will be put through uneccessary stress or discomfort just for the sake of appearance. All dogs will be groomed for welfare and not for aesthetic appearance.
We use Natural shampoos which have been sourced locally from Devon. They contain essential oils and are available for sale in the shop.
We use hydrobath technology. The spray head produces a unique hydrocombing action which massages and stimulates the skin. Not only is it the most efficient way of washing your dog but also provides a therapeutic water massage. The hydrocombing action naturally helps with blood circulation, relieves tired muscles and has been found to be beneficial for arthritis sufferers and older dogs. The clean water is kept at a constant temperature of 40 degrees celcius.
Myself and Suzanne are the groomers. Suzanne has recently moved back to the UK to help with the care of her mother. Suzanne ran a successful grooming business in Granada, Spain as well as working closely with the local Rescue Centre. Suzanne is very caring and relaxed with the animals with years of expeience with difficult, nervous dogs.
I specialise in cats and giant breeds where as Suzanne is very experienced with Spaniels.
A microchipping Service is offered and is very competitively priced. We can microchip individual Cats, Dogs and rabbits or litters of puppies in the comfort of your home.
